Peaks of Otter - Sharp Top Mountain - November 2010

Bedford County, Virginia - 30 Minutes west of Lynchburg - Peaks of Otter rise to majestic levels. Sharp Top Mountain has an easy access estimated 1/12 hour hiking trail to the top. This is a series of photos that take you to the top and back down to the lodge below. The hike is worth the effort. Views are spectacular. The peak has a look out, apparently constructed with Mountain stones. There is a Stone Cottage at the top made from stone and mortar. Find more local area blog photos at www.iLynchburg.com
